Two nature reserves enchanting by their beauty and rarity – Ptasi Raj (Bird’s Paradise) in Górki Wschodnie and Mewia Łacha (Seagull’s Sandbar) in Świbno await those who admire nature’s charm.

These natural reserves located on the east and on the west coast of the Island (see the map below) are bird sanctuaries and a home for many species. The site is also famous for the spectacular panorama of Vistula river mouth, interesting topography (marshes, coastal lakes) and varied fauna and flora. These natural features makes the place special and protected area. Please be as quiet as possible, keep dogs on the lead, take your rubbish with you and leave the natural objects, like flowers, plants and others undisturbed.
